Celebrating National Certified Nursing Assistants Week at Lifespace

It’s National CNA Week! Each day, Certified Nursing Assistants play an important role on our care teams. They show compassion and knowledge in the personalized care they provide our residents in assisted living and skilled nursing. To celebrate, we want to spotlight one of our many CNAs who make a difference in the lives of our residents.

Avry Moran is a CNA at our Friendship Village of Bloomington senior living community. He became a CNA because he wanted to help people. Team members and residents appreciate his thoughtfulness and his dedication to always going above and beyond. “Not everyone has family that lives close enough to visit every day, so often CNAs become like a second family to the residents we care for,” he said. “Those emotional connections are important to our residents, and getting to build those relationships with them is one of my favorite parts of what I do.”
