With July being National Culinary Arts Month, we want to spotlight another of our incredible culinary team members. Tom Papp is Supervisor, Dining Room at our Village on the Green community. Over his more than 20 years at the community, he has grown close to many of the residents and their families. So much so, he has even seen some of the residents’ grandchildren grow up to be Village on the Green team members.
“I always look forward to bartending the weekly happy hour at The Oaks Dining Room. I like seeing the residents’ smiling faces while they interact with each other and team members. It is the best time to get to know them better, learn about their stories, and who they are. Taking care of the residents gives me purpose; their gratitude and appreciation is my reward,” said Tom. “I’ve also had the privilege of working with an amazing team whose dedication to our residents is astounding.”
